SUMMER SHOW – 295th FLOWER SHOW
SATURDAY 7th JUNE 2025
Marquee at RA Summer Fair on Central Square 12 – 5pm
All HortSoc members, whatever your experience, are welcome to participate in the flower show. There are over 50 categories so, whatever you have growing in your garden or in pots on your window sill, there is bound to be something you can enter. There are also categories for vegetables, jams, a cake recipe, photography and options for the younger members of the family. It’s free and really easy to enter, give it a try!
How to Enter
First, decide which class(es) you would like to enter. See the full list of classes and entry form.
Complete the entry form and either email it to shows@hortsoc.co.uk or deliver it in person on Tuesday 3rd June to Fellowship House, Willifield Way NW11 6YD, between 7pm and 8pm, where there will be members of the committee on hand to offer assistance and answer any questions.

Staging of Exhibits – Saturday 7th June
Bring your entries along to the Marquee in Central Square, located next to the Free Church, between 9am and 11am on the day of the show. When you arrive go into the Free Church first to collect vases for displaying your flowers.
Please refer to Guidance for Exhibitors and General Rules and Regulations for more information on how to prepare and exhibit your entries.
Exhibits can be removed between 5pm and 6pm.
One of the junior classes is a collage of a bee using plant and non-plant material. You can download a template for this here.
Enjoy the Flower Show
The show will be open to the public after judging has taken place, from around 2pm, and will remain open until the Summer Fair closes at 5pm .
Teas will be available at the Free Church from 2-30pm and there will be other food, drink and entertainment on offer at the Summer Fair.
Raffle
A raffle will be held to support the Society’s nominated charities. The draw will take place at 5pm.
